European Union 2015 VAT Changes

Effective January 1 2015, Zap5 Networks and its subsidaries will no longer sell services to customers who reside within the European Union. This is due to new tax changes that the European Union has created, requiring Zap5 Networks to charge customers VAT tax on all services. You can read about the new law on the European Union website.

Before the new rules were created less than 1% of our total customers were residents of a European Union member country. Tracking and reporting our VAT liability and making monthly payments to the European Union would negatively impact our business operations that far outweigh the potential revenue from European Union customers. As such, starting January 1st, 2015 we will no longer server customers from the European Union. Any attempts at ordering services from the country will be declined.

We do apologize to any customers who are negatively affected by this new policy. Blame your government.
