This week we started migrations to our new public cloud infrastructure. This is part of our 2017 Cloud Evergreen project.

We are moving north! A complete data center migration is underway. All infrastructure and servers are being moved north 400 miles from New Jersey, NJ, USA (NJ1) to Montreal, QC, Canada (CA1).  This move includes both customer and company infrastructure. We are going to be a 100% Canadian operation before March 1st, 2017. The move does not affect our Kamloops, BC headquarters office location. The USA based data center operation has become unsustainable for us as a Canadian company and in order to survive we must adapt. The new Canadian based infrastructure will be utilizing cutting edge technologies allowing us to evolve and give our customers innovative products and services.

Customers that will be impacted will recieve separate communication with migration information and schedules. Unfortunatley we are not planning to offer web hosting, VPS or cloud at our old location. These services will be available only at the new CA1 data center location. This means that all customers are included in the migration except for those in special agreements.

Affected services:
  • Web Hosting
  • VPS Servers
  • Cloud Servers
  • FLEX Dedicated Servers

We are rebranding the company. As of January 17, 2017 our company has officially been approved for change of name by the provincial government. There will be a separate announcement on this later on. For now you may notice services will be moving away from the legacy Zap5 Networks company name. More details later on!

We hope you will join us during this phase of our companies evolution.
